Free time in the College is meant to be used doing library reference work / extra reading
Parents are advised not to enter the classroom/library/hall to meet the teachers and their wards during class hours.
Parents are requested not to discuss College matters with any teacher during class hours. Parents who want information or wish to discuss any problem relating to the College should contact the Administration on College working days. On Sundays and holidays, no business matters can be discussed.
Excuse for absence and late attendance should be made in writing by placing a leave application.
After an illness, a pupil must produce a doctor’s certificate stating that she is fit to join College.
Parents must inform the College authorities about their child’s lack of punctuality or absences.
Students who absent themselves on the first day of a Semester or year or remain absent for five days in succession without permission may have their names removed from the attendance register.
Strict disciplinary action will be taken on frequent uninformed absences or bunking of classes. Parents are expected to co-operate with the College authority by enforcing regularity and observing only those holidays indicated in the diary.
Once a student comes to the College she can go home only after completing her classes. They are not allowed to leave the College campus unless and until there is an emergency.
In emergency written permission must be taken from the concerned authority.
In any communication made by the parents/ guardian to the administration, the name, address and phone number, year and department of the student should be clearly mentioned in the application.
Rendering false or misleading information or withholding correct information may disqualify the student for admission or continuing education in the College.
Parents and their wards, for better functioning of the College, must be aware and follow all the rules, regulations and procedures laid down by the College from time to time and should be very careful in the behavior and conduct with the teachers, members of the College staff and management. Their behavior should never be such as to compromise the dignity and self-respect of the above-mentioned persons. If violated, the decision of the administration/College Disciplinary committee would be final. The deterrent decided upon by the said, could, in extreme cases, be the suspension/expulsion from the College.
